First Class Machinist Apprentice

Ord Machining is seeking a First Class machinist apprentice to join our team. This apprentiship is a 4 year commitment. Duties including learning and performing machining, repairing and fabrication of a variety of components for our customer base. Including customers in the mining, agricultural and  construction industries. Along with other local and regional customers.

We require enthusiatic individuals who have the ability to work within a team and individually.  An ability to work through tasks and find solutions is a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively within the business.

Essential criteria.

  • Have completed year 12 education.
  • Hard working and willing to learn.
  • Have a interest machining and engineering.
  • Excellent computer skills, experience using AutoCAD programs adventagous.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to pass a national police check.

Spare Parts Sales Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Spare Parts Sales Assistant to join the Ord Machining Team in the Kimberley of WA.

The successful applicant for this position will be customer focused and have a passion for sales and service.

You will serve customers, manage inventory, order and receive stock, prepare orders ready for dispatch, arrange in store displays.

Previous experience in sales and service and/or a knowledge and interest in agricultural and mechanical equipment is desirable, as is attention to detail, good numerical skills and have great computer literacy.

The position offers an opportunity for training and development of sales skills in specialised product lines, including wholegoods.
